We have a wonderful magazine in Sheffield called “Now Then” with lots of really interesting articles by locals on a range of issues. So I was very excited to write an article for them about improvisation in music education. I wrote about my experience of teaching improvisation to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils and the positive effects I saw as a result of it. It was this experience that led me to write “In the Gap!”, in the hope that other teachers could use my resource to get the same positive reaction…have a look at the article here:
